WestShore Plaza feels less like a shopping mall and more like an immersive zombie-apocalypse attraction—except nobody warns you before entering. I came here trying to find LensCrafters, which somehow turned into three levels of mall purgatory. The parking structures and entrances were confusing, the signage wasn’t helpful, and the store was tucked around a corner in a strange side hallway near a rotunda. You practically have to complete a full lap of the mall before realizing it’s even there. The mall itself was eerily empty. There were only a handful of people walking around, numerous closed storefronts, and almost no activity outside. I kept expecting a tumbleweed to roll past or an abandoned kiosk to ask if I had seen the other survivors. A few businesses are still operating, but the entire property feels like it is waiting for the wrecking ball. If you need one particular store, confirm that it’s open and study the entrances before arriving. Otherwise, prepare for a confusing journey through the retail afterlife.

Fortunately, WestShore Plaza’s no University Mall, but it’s not too far from it. Closed stores everywhere, an uninviting feeling in the air (that always either stunk or smelled like popcorn), the place is also a ghost mall (a pretty small one at that), and the clean and lively exterior is merely a disguise to hide the dirty and unkempt interior. There is some stuff to be seen and done (like the fountains and the Hot Topic that definitely will not last long), but I still wouldn’t recommend going here for the mall itself, you’ll be disappointed lol

The mall is slowly closing. The majority of the stores have already closed but this that are still open do have ongoing sales. The food court is bare. The mall opens earlier but stores do not open till 11? Until it closes it is still a good place to get in the steps.

This mall has seen alot over the years I wish it could be what it was again. I loved walked through it reliving so many memories. I met Katie here who introduced me to to my wife Sharon. Almost 50 years ago. In its hay day was always a great place to shop and hang out. Now it's alot of boarded up store fronts. Still can be a fun place to shop.

Beautiful design and architecture. Clean and relatively stylish but the bathrooms could use a little remodeling. The food court was so very unappealing with little options to choose from, and they need a serious cleaning on the rafters above where people eat as the amount of dust and dirt that have accumulated over time is disgusting to think what's falling in our food. Very little foot traffic but a good selection of stores and services. I would much rather go a few miles down to the International Airport Mall, but like all malls, they are becoming obsolete so this was no surprise.
